The Crow’s Idea

There are creatures in this world that seem to exist at the threshold of things — between the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen. The Crow is one of them.

To me, the crow carries a sense of mystery and transformation-- a creature able to move between darkness and light, the familiar and the unknowable.

In this painting, the crow holds an orb-- luminous, perfect, and still.  It feels like something found, something carried, something offered.

This is the crow’s gift: to move fearlessly through the unknown, and return carrying the light.
